About Me

Hello, Friends!

When I was 25 weeks pregnant with my first son, I started this blog to document the journey.  My husband and I have family spread out all across the nation, and I wanted one place they could visit to get updates on my pregnancy, see photos of the baby, and hear about our latest theatre endeavors.

Over the past few years, it’s turned into much more than that.  It’s been more of a creative outlet for me to share DIY projects, the ups and downs of motherhood, life updates, a pregnancy announcement, and everything in between.  It’s like my own virtual scrapbook.

In late August of 2016, I decided I needed a change.  I was grateful for the work I was able to do from home, while still being the primary caregiver to my two boys and doing the occasional acting gig, but something was missing.  Making a paycheck was GREAT, but I wasn’t helping anyone.  I wasn’t making a difference.

Plus, I wasn’t doing anything to better myself.  I had become complacent.

My good friend and Beachbody Coach had been asking me to join her team for YEARS, and I always politely declined.  I didn’t understand what the whole thing was about.  Then finally, it hit me.  It was what I needed to A.) hold myself accountable to do the workouts and BE the product of the products, and B.) help others with their own fitness goals.  All while earning an income for my family and building my own business.  It was perfect.  I could work from home (or wherever I was).  I could work when I wanted (nap time/after the boys go to bed).  And I was my own boss.

So, I signed up, and the rest is history.

While I’m still documenting my occasional DIY project and life events, I’ll be spending more time logging my fitness journey on here.  We all have a story, and this is mine.
